Since I amused myself last time over some of the not so useful advice you can also get in order to optimize your domains with pagerank, I think it is time to get to some of the good advice which there is luckily also plenty of. I have already written some blogs about links and how they influence pageranks but there is still much to explore there. One way to get a higher pagerank is to link to what is referred to as authority sites such as e.g. governmental sites (.gov), Wikipedia, education sites (.edu). These sites are generally also higher ranked than your site and will that way be able to give you more points as well. Again I think it is important to state that you should only do this, if it is relevant to your page and it adds quality to what you are already doing.
